Sorry I am doing some catching up. This was the end of our Oregon trip, on July 8th to 9th we went to the Redwood Forest for Adam's Birthday! We had a blast!

Things Adalyn Like's to say recently

I thought it would be a fun way for us to remember all the crazy things Adalyn says by posting them. These are phrases I hear almost everyday, "I'm going to spank daddy's booty" "Two words, that's not nice" haha she's crazy "Ellie's getting me" Which usually Ellie is pulling her hair or scratching her. "I talking Daddy" not to me(mommy) "Daddy, mommies not nice" "Mommy, Daddy's not being nice" She uses this one when one of us have told her no. "I'm so hungry, I want some gum" She keeps us laughing everyday with her dramatic personality and stubborness, She must have gotten that from Adam! hehe

Ellie turning 1 and changing!

Well I'm sure I will post a lot of things most people won't care about. But since I'm also doing this blog for a family journal I thought I would write about how much Ellie has been changing. She started walking on her own July 10, 2008 and has gotten better everyday. While in Las Vegas from July 15th to the 23rd. She got to the point that she didn't want to even crawl anymore! YEAH!! I am so excited that she isn't crawling anymore, well this has also made her want to be more independent. She now likes to try and feed herself, she will shake her head no if she doesn't want something or throws a tantrum if you don't do what she wants. She has also become the bully of the family, she loves to scratch, pinch, bite and especially pull Adalyn's hair! But she is also doing so many wonderful and good things, she is learning to communicate what she wants, she loves to cuddle and give wet kisses. It is so amazing to see how in a couple of weeks she isn't my little baby anymore, she is becoming a big girl just like her sister. We love our girls with all our hearts!

Here is just the pictures of Ellie's Birthday party which we had on the 2nd so that we could have a joint birhtday party with Braden her 2 year old cousin. It was a lot fun opening presents and Adalyn loved helping Ellie. However the cake thing didn't turned out like I was hoping. Ellie burned herself on the candle and would go near the cake again, so she didn't even touch her first birthday cake! Makes me sad but we always have next year!

Our Trip to Oregon!!!

We just got back from a much needed trip home! It's been a year and a half since I have been in Oregon! I love seeing family and just hanging out at home, my kids loved seeing all there cousins, aunts and uncles, and especially Grandma and Grandpa Jones! We also got to celebrate Ellie's first birthday, the 4th of July and Adam's Birthday. On the way home we drove and saw the Red Wood Forrest which was amazing and the beach. It was a fun week!

Well, my sister Kristy has converted my whole family to having a blog, so after a trip to Oregon here we are with our blog. I hope we can keep in better contact with family and friends.
