IT'S A...

BOY!!! We are so excited to tell everyone that on March 11th we found out we will be having a boy. At first he wouldn't show us what he was so the doctor did the rest of the ultra sound and had me go wait in the waiting room for awhile to see if he would change positions. I was hoping that he would because I couldn't wait another 4 weeks to find out what we were having. As soon as I went back in you could tell right away it was a boy. Adam was on the phone with me as I found out and the girls and my Mom came. It was fun to show the girls, especially when we did the 3D ultra sound you could see him moving his arms and legs. We feel so blessed and everything looked great.

BOY!!! We are so excited to tell everyone that on March 11th we found out we will be having a boy. At first he wouldn't show us what he was so the doctor did the rest of the ultra sound and had me go wait in the waiting room for awhile to see if he would change positions. I was hoping that he would because I couldn't wait another 4 weeks to find out what we were having. As soon as I went back in you could tell right away it was a boy. Adam was on the phone with me as I found out and the girls and my Mom came. It was fun to show the girls, especially when we did the 3D ultra sound you could see him moving his arms and legs. We feel so blessed and everything looked great.

A First!

So Adalyn a few weeks ago came in crying saying her two bottom teeth hurt, when I looked they were really loose. She freaked out at the thought of me pulling her tooth and wouldn't let me touch it. So Adam sent her a book about loosing your tooth and the tooth fairy which she loved but it didn't make her want her tooth to come out. So after about 3 weeks of her teeth being so loose I finally decided it was time to just take them out. They were so loose they weren't even up and down anymore they were laying crooked. So on Sat. March 6 I literally pinned Adalyn down who was screaming and refusing to open her mouth and got her to open it after 10 min. of fighting with her. It fell out the second I touch it and even she said she didn't feel it. After she calmed down she was really excited that it was out and couldn't wait for the toothfairy to come. That night she put her tooth under her pillow and in the morning had $1. The next day I told her the other tooth needed to come out and she cried a little but opened her mouth and let me take it out. It also just came right out. So the toothfairy came again and she got another $1. Oh and because I made it so tramatic for her the first time I let her go to Walmart and pick out a barbie. I felt a little guilty about pinning her down but in the end it all worked out and now she loves to show everyone her 2 missing teeth.

The Oregon Coast!

Over the weekend of Valentine's day and presidents day my brother and his wife asked if we wanted to join them and go to the beach. I said we would love to. So we packed up and went on Saturday to Lincoln City which is where we always go since we were kids. We stayed until monday at a hotel with 3 queen beds and a microwave and fridge. It also was right on the beach and had an indoor swimming pool. It was supposed to rain the entire time we were there but it ended up being one of the nicest times I have been there. It was clear skies and even a little warm on Saturday. We never got rained on so we were really lucky! It was so nice to get away and I just love spending time with Jay and Chelsea.

We have seen them a lot and they come stay with us for days at a time and the girls just play and play. We also have my sister Kristy and her husband Will with there 5 girls only 45 min. away so it is fun the girls get to see them and play. They love it when we get to see cousins. These are pictures at my parents house and at a farm close by called the Bauman's. They have a lot of fun area's for the kids to go and play and a petting zoo. So we have been out there a bunch of times.
