YEAH for Gymnastics!!!

Well since Adalyn didn't get into Pre-school this year we decided she needed to get involved in something. She is very excited to be learning about gymnastics! She loves the outfits I bought her the most! We go every Mon. and Wed. here on base for 30 min. She loves having something of her own to do and I love watching her learn new stuff. She is very good at it and will do anything the teacher asks of her. So far they have gone over forward roll, cartwheels, exercises on the long Trampoline, The bars, the beam and a backwards flip! She's only been in the class for 3 weeks but they've done so much! Oh yes and I can't leave out Ellie who every class tries to go and do what the class is doing and is very persistant but has to wait until she's alittle bit older! She loves playing on the matts though!

Lake Tahoe

So for Labor Day Weekend Adam's parents Mike and Nadine came into town. On Friday Adam took them to the Sacramento Temple. On Saturday we all went to North Lake Tahoe to King's Beach. It's 2 hours away, it was really hot at Beale over 100 degrees but in Tahoe it was a nice 85 degrees. We looked around the cute town and then went on the beach. The girls loved the sand and Ellie also loved the water. Adalyn was very afraid of the water. (she's afraid of everything!) It is so Beautiful there. It was really nice to have Adam's parents in town and for the girls to spend sometime with Grandma and Grandpa McKee.

Well we finally got our family pictures and Ellie's 1 year pictures taken. I love kiddie kandids! I think they did such a great job. (these are not cropped yet but they did crop them down)I am happy to finally have a picture with all of us in it. It's a pain getting it done but once it is, it's all worth it! 5 YEARS AND GOING STRONG!!!

Well on August 16, 2008 Adam and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary! I can't believe it has been that long. It seems like just yeserday we were at BYU-Idaho! We decided to go to a water park in Roseville called Sunsplash, they have a special deal that you can go at night from 7:30 to 11. So we got a babysitter and left the girls for a fun night out. Neither of us have been to a water park in probably 10 years so I was a litte nervous but after our first ride I couldn't wait to go on more! We don't leave the girls very often(never) so it was fun to have a break! We actually went to the park on Friday Aug.15th. I can't imagine what my life would be like without Adam. He is a wonderful husband and father who is loving and supportive and most of all a worthy priesthood holder who sacrafices so much for our family so that we can have a better life.

For Adalyn's 1 year birthday I found this really great crayola stuff that you open and use however you want and within 24 hours it dries and can't break or crumble. So for Adalyn we did her right hand and left foot print. So for Ellie we thought it would be fun to do the same thing. I think it is a great way to remember how little they are. We had enough left over to let Adalyn do her right hand which she loved. She was so excited to paint her's purple and she painted Ellie's pink like her first one. It was a fun family event.
