Adalyn's 5th Birthday!!

Wow! I can't believe we have a 5 year old! On March 22 we celebrated Addy's birthday in Oregon. Unfortunately Adam couldn't be there but he sent a box full of books and candy and jewelry for her. She loved it. It just so happens that Addy's cousin Brinlee's b-day is on the same day and her other cousin Hannah's birthday is the 20th so we celebrated all of there birthdays together. It was also Easter weekend. It was thankfully a really nice weekend. We went bowling and had pizza and soda there, which all the kids loved and then went back to grandma's house where we had cake and opened presents and all the kids played outside the rest of the day. Adalyn thought it was the best birthday ever and loved spending it with her cousins.
Adalyn at 5 is 47 lbs and 46 in. tall. She loves the color purple (that's an understatement) She can write her own name and everyone else's in the family by herself. She can also copy anything I write for her. She has become very independent and likes to pick out her own clothes and how she wants her hair done. She definitely the oldest and likes to be in charge and is very mothering. She is very sweet and compassionate. We love her so much.
